Anne Marshall (former Center for Youth and Society director, EPLS chair, and counselling psychology faculty) with Meg Kapil (current PhD candidate in Educational Psychology). Meg  presented a poster on her “Stress Stories” project at UVic’s Center for Youth and Society Flourishing Child & Youth Fair. This is a collaborative projective with SD 61, funded by CORE UVic that delivers an intervention for supporting school age children to regulate stress at school. This program integrates findings from Meg’s SHHRC funded dissertation research on mental health, stress regulation, and self-regulated learning (supervised by Dr. Allyson Hadwin).  Meg is a student affiliate with the Center for Youth and Society which is celebrating 20 years of community engaged and interdisciplinary research, visit their website for more information and to get involved: https://www.uvic.ca/research/centres/youthsociety/index.php
