Mariel Miller and Lizz Webster have each co-authored an encyclopedia entry with Allyson Hadwin, entitled Learning to Learn and Study Strategies respectively. Recently accepted into the Encyclopedia of the Sciences of Learning, the entries summarize current theories and research in these areas. Specifically, Learning to Learn summarizes the theoretical background and key processes involved in self-regulated learning and briefly describes interventions to facilitate students in learning to learn. Study Strategies highlights the main processes involved in a processing approach to strategy use and summarizes research on strategy instruction and specific study strategies.
